A fairly straightforward post but I found myself stuck for a while so hopefully this will save someone else the same level of frustration (and a few hours) -
The D-Link DSL-2750U doesn't seem to have an option for "half-bridge" mode; it's either PPPoE or Bridging. To allow you to have a default account set up in the router, keep it set to PPPoE and to allow users to dial-in to whatever DSL account they want on a PC, make sure the option PPPoE pass-through is enabled.
It's that simple, and now you can have a main account for home and separate accounts for your work machine etc.
